Circles

Forty years of readers writing back. This is where that happens now: small, unhurried circles where the people who read Creations talk with each other.

Pick a circle

Each one stays open indefinitely, so a thread from months ago is still a fine place to start. Kind, curious and on-topic, please.

Opening the circles…
How it works

Three things worth knowing

No password

Signing in takes a minute

Enter your email and we send a one-click link and a six-digit code. There is nothing to remember and nothing to reset. Reading is always free and never needs an account.

Two places to talk

Threads here, comments there

Circles are for the bigger, ongoing subjects. Every article also has its own comments, for when you want to respond to one specific piece.

Moderated by people

Someone is actually reading

Posts appear straight away and are moderated by hand. You can delete anything you have written, any time, from the post itself.

House rules

What keeps this worth reading

This community holds many traditions, many practices and a lot of people in the middle of something difficult. These are the four rules that protect that.

  • Be kind, especially when you disagree. Argue with the idea, never with the person holding it.
  • Speak from your own experience. "This helped me" lands. "You should" does not.
  • No medical claims, no diagnosing strangers. Never tell someone to stop or delay professional care. Same rule we hold ourselves to on the page.
  • No selling. Mention your practice if it is genuinely relevant, then move on. Promotion belongs in advertising.

Something out of line? Tell us on the support page and we will look at it the same day.
