Answers

Before you write to us

Signing in

I never received my sign-in code

The code arrives within a minute or two from notifications@creationsmag.com. Check your spam or promotions folder first, and add that address to your contacts. If it still has not arrived after five minutes, request a new one. The old code stops working as soon as a new one is sent.

My code says it has expired

Codes and one-click links last fifteen minutes and can only be used once, which is what keeps your account yours. Request a fresh one and use it straight away.

Do I need an account to read Creations?

No. Every article, issue and listing on this site is free to read with no account. An account only adds the community side: commenting on articles and taking part in conversations.

How do I change my name or photo?

Sign in, then open your account from the top right of any page. You can change your display name, your photo, and delete your account there.

Newsletter & issues

How do I subscribe to the newsletter?

Enter your email on the subscribe page or in the signup band at the foot of the homepage. It is free, and it is the fastest way to know when a new issue lands.

How do I unsubscribe?

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. If you cannot find it, send us your address using the form below and we will remove it for you.

Where can I read the print issue?

The current issue and the full back-issue archive are readable and downloadable here as PDFs, free. Print copies are distributed across New York City and Long Island in health-food stores, studios, wellness centers and practices.

Can I get the magazine mailed to me?

Ask us. Mail subscriptions are handled case by case; send your address using the form below and we will tell you what is possible.

Listings & events

How do I get listed in Resources or the Marketplace?

Listings are part of our advertising programme. The advertise page covers what is included, and we will send rates and the next deadline on request.

My listing has the wrong details

Tell us what it should say using the form below, the exact listing name and the corrected line, and we will fix it. Corrections are free and we make them quickly.

Can I submit an event to the calendar?

Yes. Send the title, date, time, location, a short description and a link. Community events are welcome; commercial promotion goes through advertising.

The website

A page or image will not load

Try a hard refresh first, which clears the copy your browser has cached. If it persists, tell us the page address and what you saw, and which browser and device you were using. That is usually enough for us to find it straight away.

Can I republish a Creations article?

Articles belong to their authors and to the magazine. Ask us first and we will usually say yes for non-commercial use with credit and a link back.

How do I report a comment?

Send us the article and roughly what was said. We moderate the community by hand and we take it seriously.

Support request

Ask a person

Tell us what is not working and where you saw it. Support requests go to the front of the queue and a person replies, usually the same business day.

A screenshot usually explains more than a paragraph. Up to 10 MB.

Support requests are flagged as priority. We answer most within one business day.

What happens next

A person, not a ticket robot

  1. Straight away

    It reaches us

Your request lands in our editorial desk the moment you send it. Nothing is auto-closed and nothing is auto-answered.

  2. Within a day

    Someone replies

We answer from a real address, so you can just reply and keep the thread going.

  3. Until it's done

    We stay on it

If it needs a fix on our side, we will tell you when it is fixed rather than leaving you to check.

Not a support question? The contact page reaches the same desk for everything else.
